Helping to Clean the Earth
“If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled, or composted, then it should be restricted, redesigned, or removed from production.” – Pete Seeger
Why We’re Doing This
How many times have you visited a place and seen trash on the ground, in nature, or in the air? We want to do our part in eliminating waste and pollutants but it’s going to take a combined effort to turn the state of our planet, our home, around.
So what small changes can we make to our own lifestyles to better the planet?

Educate your friends and family on ways to reduce, reuse, recycle, & refuse
Research local organizations you can get involved in
Water your lawns early in the morning or late at night
Use unscented, all natural candles or essential oils instead of air fresheners

Remember reusable bags when grocery shopping or choose paper when you forget
Reduce meat consumption & eat organic, free-range, locally source
Either refuse or bring your own reusable straws
Grow your own community or private garden

Carpool, use public-transport, bike or even walk as often as possible
Shut off electronics when they are not in use
Use the sun to heat and light your house/windows to cools
Use cold water for showers, laundry, & dishwashers
